Hello again,

Thank you for your interest in reading about me. I am a designer thinker by nature, graduated in business administration with a background in technology.

After finishing my degree, I followed my dream to live abroad, where life took me to Portugal. I traveled and volunteered before starting a postgraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This master's taught me how to use technologies as tools to achieve successful products and could learn more about companies' reality, from different sizes, such as individual entrepreneurs, startups and larger company structures. During my postgrad studies and some time after, I worked as a web designer in a consulting company, which certainly led me to dive further into programming.

In 2021, I got the opportunity to work as a junior developer at a B2B software company. After some time dealing with front-end and databases, I identified more with customer-facing tasks and was so attracted to what our UX/UI team was doing that I was suddenly a part of it. Today, I couldn't be happier working as a UX designer.

Professional Experiences

UX/ Product Designer at Wattwin

Jan 2024 - Currently

Startup focused on commercial software and the management of customizable solar self-consumption projects, with responsibilities covering both UX and Product Design. In my day-to-day role, I collaborate with other Product Designers, reviewing and conducting usability tests to ensure a smooth user experience and platform consistency. Additionally, I manage complete projects for a team, from the initial research and definition phases through to high-fidelity prototyping.I participate in daily meetings with both the design and product teams, ensuring strategic alignment and the development of user-centered solutions.

Product Designer at NDD Tech

Oct 2021 - Dec 2023

A management and automation technology platform.
As a Product designer in a multi-functional team, where we use agile methodology for project organization, my contribution is to provide the best experience for our end user and usability across the entire company building a design system.
I use design process, such as, definition, desk and user research, sitemaps, wireframes, navigable prototypes and usability tests.
And initially as developer I have contributed to develop a library page where all components of the design system were hosted. For that, I used react.js and the Visual studio code editor.

Responsible for maintaining the company website using Wordpress and creating content for partner schools and universities. I was part of a larger team to create marketing strategies to have a better digital presence and position using organic and paid search engines.

First started as an office assistant, and was promoted after just two months where I was fully in charge of payments, receivables and financial data controlling.
